Professional Kit CK-4

Latching beige nylon shells that are suitable for home and professional shop use on Japanese motorcycles, cars, and trucks from the 1970's on. Employs specially designed M/F spade terminals to create low insertion-force connector shell pairs that are incredibly easy to interconnect and disconnect. Works with conductor diameters from 20-14 AWG

CRITICAL NOTE: These special low-insertion force shells do NOT interconnect with the original factory latching shells that were manufactured by Hitachi. Nor do they work with standard 6.3mm spade terminals.

These are the connector shells and crimp terminals that have been used on Japanese sport bikes, touring bikes, and dirt bikes since the 1980's. This kit is suitable for home and shop use on a wide range of Japanese motorcycle makes and models.

Note: We highly recommend the purchase and use of our RTL crimping tool (or its equivalent from another source) for the proper installation of these connectors. With proper tool use, your repairs will be indistinguishable from the connectors in your factory harness! And properly crimped terminals are many times more resistant to vibration fatigue than soldered terminals are. This is particularly critical where high-revving motorcycle engines create vibration.
